Hi, I’m Oliver! I’m a 21-year-old fursuit maker from Hungary, Europe!🇭🇺
I’ve been crafting fursuits for about four years now, mostly premades here and there.Right now I’m working from my parents’ home while saving up to move into a small workshop of my own. My dream is to make high-quality costumes full-time, and I’m putting my all into making that happen. My current personal goals are to move out, start HRT, save up for top surgery, and (very importantly) become an official cat dad. 🐈I tend to work pretty fast… while somehow feeling like I’m procrastinating the whole time. I like giving frequent updates so you can see your suit come to life, but don’t expect a head to be finished in just two weeks, lol. When I’m not making fursuits, I’m probably deep in a Minecraft obsession, out in the garden, or daydreaming about my next project. If you’re after a suit in a unique style, shape, or species, you’re in the right place! As long as I’ve got a clean reference, I can make it happen.

The magnets aren’t exposed, but if it may cause you problems, please look for a different maker! These strong magnets can also interfere with hearth rythm regulators and other devices. If you feel like a magnet is broken, if you can, please, remove it! The magnets can oxidize when exposed to water for a longer period of time, or when broken; to air. Please work on keeping them dry. That said: They're usually only used for eyelids and there's foam between them and the wearers face.✦Please let me know before work starts if you wear hearing aids and/or glasses.───── ⋆⋅☆⋅⋆ ─────
Work✦I’ll accept minor modifications to the head base once I started carving it, but not after I already patterned it and have the patterns cut out of the fur fabric. If you have complaints please notify me in time!✦I try to provide frequent WIPs! I can also send them as requested at any time.✦If I make a mistake, I will correct it without an additional fee!✦I reserve the right not to work on weekends.

Fursuit cleaning and care guide
✦•······················•✦•······················•✦Important things to look out for:✦Do NOT expose faux fur to direct heat.✦NEVER put the fursuit HEAD into the washing machine.✦NEVER put parts into the dryer.✦Use fabric disinfectant sprays WITHOUT chlorine!! on the inside and outside of the head after every use. Read the bottle, I use Impresan, but anything locally bought should be good.✦Keep yourself clean. Hygiene is important if you want a suit to stay clean for longer.✦Proper tools for brushing different materials:- Minky: use a soft-bristled brush and wash it with fabric softener to get possible matting out.- Faux fur: use a slicker brush with plastic tips, held in an uppside down position to prevent it from ripping out fur.- Fleece: Do not brush fleece, as that can encourage pilling. If that has happened, buy a lint remover, or carefully remove the knots with a blade, making sure not to damage the material.───── ⋆⋅☆⋅⋆ ─────
✦Regular cleaning:- Regular cleaning is recommended after longer sessions of wear, like public suitings, out goings, or conventions. If you can, stuff the fursuit eyes (Follow-me type) with paper towels, and tape them down to prevent water touching them. With plastic eyes, -if you see out of the transparent part of it-, make sure to not get too much water into them, because when water dries on the surface it can leave dropplet marks on the inside. The mesh and paint on the eyes should stay fine when washed, as long as you don't scrub them. Don't forget to cover the backside of the eyes, inside the head if you can.Remove any accesories from the suit. Eyelids, toungues, anything that can come off, like piercings or pins. You can wash them seperately, but do not put the magnetic parts into the washing machine. (The head included.)For this part I would recommend you use a Little Green Machine, but in case you don't have one, or would prefer manual instructions:
Prepare a lukewarm bath for the fursuit head, and soak it in. You can use fabric softeners, cleaning detergents and srub it as much as you feel like! Get the dirt and sweat out. It can be tedious, but it's worth it.After the scrubbing, rinse it, and squish the soap out! Make sure to not leave any soap spots on the suit, and when you gently squish the muzzle it's just clean water coming out.Now you should have a clean fursuit head! Pat it dry with a clean towel, and brush it out! Don't use the hairdryer on it, or if you do, leave a good distance between your dryer and the suit, and move around the hairdryer. Keep in mind, direct heat can ruin the fur. Leave the suit to air dry, making sure the inside can dry too. I like to put a small fan into my suit heads to make sure they dry properly on the inside. Every few hours you should check on it, and brush it again. Make sure the foam dries too before you put it away, pack it up, or wear it.Now you should have a nice and clean fursuit head. As an extra step you can spray it with fabric disinfectants if you feel like it.───── ⋆⋅☆⋅⋆ ─────
✦Fursuit parts and body washing:Once again remove anything magnetic, dissemble the suit: remove padding from the handpaws if they aren't lined, take the belt out of the tail. Take the stuffing out of the body suit, and tail if you have padding and can.✦Machine washing:If you use a washing machine, put it on a lukewarm/ almost cold setting, on a delicate cycle. Do NOT put parts into the dryer.✦Washing by hand:It's mostly the same as for the head, soak everything in a bath, use fabric softener and detergent, scrub it in, then rinse and squish until they have nothing but clean water coming out of them. But I warn you, if you're washing bigger parts like this, you'll need some strong arms, extra time and stamina. After washing, turn them right side out, then hang up your suit and parts to dry. Make sure to put them in a well ventilated area if you can. Brush out fur with an uppside down held slicker brush to help the fur dry straight. Make sure to brush on every side.✦Spot cleaning:Spot cleaning is recommended if you find stains on your costume. Identify the spot if you can, then act accordingly.Food stains: A regular cleaning should help, and the usage of a Little Green Machine is highly recommended. There are a lot of things that are hard to clean like, tomato and wine stains, and for each I recommend you look up a solution on the internet.Alcoholic markers: Rubbing alcohol would be ideal, but alternatively you can use hand sanitizers. Gently rub the spot until it's gone, then wash away the smell with water. Do NOT use nail polish removers, as acetone can be too hard or plastic fur and may remove color.Paint: Identify the paint type. If it's watercolor (aquarell), then the stain should come out with water and some cleaning detergent. If the paint is acryllic, try to remove as fast as you can with water! Try not to rub it in. If that happens, please look up solutions on the internet. If the stain is uncleanable, you can contact your maker (WeaverOwl) for possible repairs, or find a different, local maker who will do it for you.Mud/Dirt: A regular cleaning should help, and the usage of a Little Green Machine is highly recommended.✦Recommendations:
I've seen some makers use [Bissell Little Green machine] for cleaning their fursuits, which can be a life saver when it comes to cleaning a fursuit.
I currently don't own one, but I'll safely recommend it as I've only seen positive reviews on it so far.Videos:Neffertity:
